Water covers 71% of the Earth´s surface. There are two groups of water:
– Salt water: it is found in oceans and seas.
– Fresh water: it is found in rivers, lakes, glaciers, groundwater and at the poles.

Rivers are permanent currents of water that carry water down to the sea.
